Billy Alan Doolittle

William (Billy) Alan Doolittle, age 47, of LaHarpe, Kansas, passed away September 20, 2022, at Salina Regional Heath, Salina, Kansas. Billy was born September 10, 1975, in Iola, Kansas, to Bill Doolittle and Patricia (Wright) Doolittle.

Billy attended school in Iola, Kansas. Billy worked for SEKAN Asphalt and then for Bettis Asphalt, for Keith Keller in construction, D & E Construction building Sonic Drive-Ins, and as a bricklayer for Robertson Construction.

Billy enjoyed music, camping, guitars, and spending time with his family and friends. He collected paperweights and guitars. Billy liked animals and gardening, especially making homemade salsa from his garden produce. He was a woodworker and made a lot of different objects out of wood. Billy adored his grandchildren and spent as much time as he could with them.

Billy was preceded in death by parents; one sister, Kelly Sue Doolittle; and two brothers, Lyle Scott Doolittle, Jeffrey Ray Doolittle.

Billy is survived by his children, Michael Doolittle, Lexi Doolittle, Kyle Doolittle, Dylan Doolittle, Hunter Doolittle, Evan Kent; grandchildren, Takara, Karlyah, Brinley, Quincy, Tavien, Te'khari, Journey; siblings, Karen (Michael) Finfrock, Robert (Anna) Doolittle; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to honor Billy's life will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. Inurnment will follow in the LaHarpe Cemetery, LaHarpe, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), which may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
