Virginia (Jones, Brunner) Everson

Virginia Ellen Everson (Brunner, Jones), of Iola, KS, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at Medicalodge of Iola, Iola, Kansas. Virginia was born August 25, 1950, in Iola, Kansas, to John Jones and Frances (Madison) Jones.

Virginia enjoyed working in public service jobs, interacting with customers and building relationships in the local community. Virginia cherished her children and grandchildren and was involved in their lives constantly.

Virginia was preceded in death by a son, John Brunner, a sister, Donna Jones, brothers Robert Jones, Dennis Jones, Jerry Jones Sr.

Virginia is survived by a son, David Brunner Jr., a daughter, Sarah Splechter (Brunner), 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, her siblings Ronald Jones, Anita Catron (Jones), Sherry Jones.

Virginia will be remembered for her kindness and love for her family, and dedication to helping those in need.

Friends and family are invited to The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

There will be no graveside service as cremation will follow the "celebration of life" ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Feuerborn Family Funeral Service to help with funeral expenses.
