Tyler Hoke

Tyler Hoke, age 31, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Tyler was born on June 16, 1994, the son of Brian Hoke Sr. and Terry Snover. He grew up with a natural affinity for the world around him, a trait that would define much of his life's work and leisure. Tyler turned his passion for nature into a career as a skilled arborist; he was never more at home than when he was working among the trees. His strong work ethic and his love for the outdoors were evident to all who knew him.

Outside of his professional life, Tyler enjoyed the digital worlds of gaming, but his greatest joy was found right at home. Above all else, Tyler took immense pride in being a father. He cherished every moment spent playing with his four-year-old son, Westley, who was truly the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Parks; his aunt, Christina Kirkland; and his cousin, Shelby Cole.

Tyler's memory will be forever held by his wife, Tessa Hoke; his son, Westley Hoke; his parents, Brian Hoke Sr. and Terry Snover; his sister, Heather Stephens; and his brother, Brian Hoke Jr. He also leaves behind his grandparents, as well as a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and many cousins who will miss him dearly.
