Thomas Feikert

Thomas (Tom) Robert Feikert, age 83, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Anderson County Hospital.

Tom was born on September 27, 1941, at St. Mary Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from DeLaSalle High School in 1959 and spent many years working as a fastener salesman, building lasting friendships with clients across Kansas - from small shops to large production companies.

On July 29, 2005, Tom was united in marriage to Helen West in Paola, Kansas. Together, they shared a love for entertaining, good food, and spirited conversation. Tom was known for his legendary BBQ skills, his passion for fishing and hunting, and his unwavering loyalty to the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. He also had a knack for collecting-his treasures as eclectic and charming as he was.

Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Feikert; his mother, Dorothy Feikert; and his father, George "Hook" Feikert.

He is survived by his children: Kelley Feikert of San Diego, California; Tim Feikert (Melody) of Paola, Kansas; and Jim Feikert (Kelli) of Olathe, Kansas. He also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Hayden, Bella, Lydia, and Wyatt Feikert.
