Taylor Lane Davis, 31, of Colony, Kansas, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026.
Taylor was born on April 28, 1995, in Iola, Kansas, to Bobby and Beth (Welsh) Davis.
Taylor will be remembered for his contagious silliness, generous spirit, and heart of gold. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was stopping to assist someone on the side of the road, helping an elderly neighbor, or answering a late-night phone call from family or friends, Taylor was always there when he was needed.
He had a passion for motorcycles, Mustangs, and Ford trucks-the louder, the better. He enjoyed spending time in the garage, tinkering with engines or anything with wheels, and seemed able to fix just about anything. Taylor worked in the oil fields and as a welder, and his strong work ethic and mechanical talents were admired by many.
He enjoyed spending time with his buddies, working on vehicles, sharing stories, changing words to songs to create a laugh and making memories. Taylor also loved cooking and smoking food for family and friends, always happy to bring people together around a good meal.
Above all, Taylor loved his family. He adored his nieces and nephews and took great pride in being their uncle. He was the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need, whether it was a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger. One phone call was all it took, and Taylor would be there.
Taylor will be remembered for his big heart, his sense of humor, his loyalty, and his willingness to help others. His kindness and generosity touched many lives, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, friendship, laughter, and unconditional love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Taylor will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Illa Davis and Gerald and LaNelle Welsh; uncles Don Welsh and Mark Henry.
Taylor is survived by his parents Bobby Davis and Beth Davis (Donnie) of Colony, Kansas; brother Cory Davis (Alisha) of Colony, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Jake, Emily, Scarlett, Dawson, Leon and Seraphina Davis of Colony, Kansas; girlfriend, Madison Keller of Colony, Kansas; and MANY aunts, uncles, cousins as well as an abundance of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday June 29, 2026 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Garnett. Private burial will take place at a later date at Colony Cemetery.
