Tana Michelle Lowe, age 55, of Iola KS, passed away in the early hours of March 11, 2026. She was born in Muskogee, OK on March 14, 1970, she was a retired nurse of 27 years. She was known for her fierce spirit and unwavering dedication to family, she was a force of nature who lived life on her own terms. Her word was her bond, and her love for family knew no bounds. A devout servant of God, her faith guided her every step. With a passion for life, she excelled in all she pursued. Her heart belonged to her loved ones and especially her precious pup, Izzy. A vibrant soul with a love for living, she cherished cooking up a storm in the kitchen, hosting sizzling cookouts with family, and pampering loved ones with her nail artistry. Her joy was contagious when cruising country roads with the music blaring, and she treasured exploring new places and creating memories through travel.
She was greeted at heavens gate by her father Jimmie Jones, mother Judy Neely and brother James Lee Jones and so many beloved family members.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Grace Sarchet (Scott) of Yates Center, KS; Jess Lowe of Des Moines, IA, Amber Boeken (Sarah) of Chanute, KS. Her grandchildren Tea Hamilton; Judyth-Kahdrien Boeken; Jaylen Lowe; Mia Lowe; and Olivia Lowe. Her siblings Dennis Jones (Rosa) of Iola, KS; Deborah Gallagher of Chanute, KS; Tracy Jones (Cathy) of Iola, KS; Terry Stipp of Thayer, KS; Nancy Craft of Gas, KS; Mark Scott (Wanda) of Toronto, KS; Jake Jones of Iola, KS; and Mahaley Jones of Chanute, KS. and tons of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was a steady rock, a prayer warrior, and a constant encourager. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose love and guidance knew no limits. She beamed with pride at every milestone, celebrated every success, and was a constant source of comfort and support. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
