Ronald McGhee

Ronald Clem McGhee, age 80, of Colony, Kansas, passed away May 5, 2026, at his home in Colony. Ron was born August 10, 1945, in Colony, Kansas, to Clem E. McGhee and Yvonne H. (Bain) McGhee.

Ron graduated from Colony High School. He attended and graduated from barber college. Ron was barber.

Ron and Nyra Ann Hudson were married February 5, 1974.

Ron loved to fish, enjoyed Chiefs football and Kansas college sports, liked to watch westerns, and telling jokes.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and siblings, Delores Showalter, Sandra Spillman, Gary McGhee.

Ron is survived by his sons, Christopher (Ada) McGhee, Matthew (Charito) McGhee; grandchildren, Albert McGhee, Kamrin (Angel) McGhee, Justice McGhee, Jordyn McGhee, Aubrie Saulsberry, great-granddaughter, Kalyn McGhee; great-aunt, Carol Ann Chroust; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A private inurnment in the Colony Cemetery, Colony, Kansas, will be at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Colony Community Church, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
