Rebecca Ann VanEtten

Rebecca Ann VanEtten (Becky as she loved to be called), age 59, of Iola, Kansas, passed away February 15, 2026 at St. Lukes North Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Becky was born on September 28th, 1966 in Iola, Kansas, to Leroy Vernon Hill and Helen Pauline (Anderson) Hill.

Becky and Kip VanEtten were united in marriage on February 1, 1992 in Garnett, Kansas. Becky loved to bake wedding and birthday cakes for family and friends. Becky also worked at Arkhaven Nursing Home in Iola, Kansas, as a cook. She then worked at Walmart in Iola, Kansas in the bakery department until her health declined.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents; sister Helen Wiede and Half Sister Vickie Spillman.

Becky is survived by her husband Kip of the home; her 3 fur babies, Marlin, Shyla, and Nala of the home; Brothers Vernon and wife Jane Hill of Fort Scott, L.C. Lawrence and wife Cindy Hill of Iola, Rick and wife Rhonda Hill of Iola, and Jack and wife Connie Hill of Chanute, Robert and wife Linda Hill of Iola, Kansas; Brothers in-law, Les Weide of Gas City, and Jody VanEtten; Sister in-law Wendy Williams; and many numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends and family from 5-7 P.M. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Venue, 1883 HWY 54, Iola, Kansas, 66749. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 HWY 54, Iola, Kansas, starting at 10:00 A.M. Followed by burial at Highland Cemetery.
