Rebecca Roush, age 80, of Greeley, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at her home.
She was born February 25, 1942, in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Ivan and Louise (Horstman) Brittingham. Beck graduated from Ottawa High School, and made her career at H.D. Lee in Ottawa and then in Olathe, as a seamstress.
Beck loved being outdoors, especially her flowers, gardening, sewing, scrapbooking, and was one good cook! She enjoyed camping and traveling with Duane and friends. Beck's biggest passion was her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Louise Brittingham; her husband, Duane Roush in 2016; one brother, Kenneth Brushwood; one sister, Marolyn Foster; one son-in-law, Jerry Turner; two nieces and a nephew.
Beck is survived by her three children, Ricky Dale Mitchell of Westphalia, Kansas, Elizabeth Howard and husband Ken of Ottawa, Kansas, Karen Turner of Lincoln, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Shanna, Brittany, Dakota, and Destiny Mitchell, Mike Yeager, Nathan, Corrinda, and Libby Howard, and Kenny Dale Turner; 16 great grandchildren; three brothers, Bill, Troy and Max Brittingham; three sisters, Ivana Higginbotham, Carolyn Schuster, and Sharon Falk; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett, with inurnment to follow in the Colony Cemetery, Colony, Kansas. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
