Randee Kay Yowell, 72, of Humboldt, Kansas, passed away at Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO, on 2-15-26. Randee was born September 19, 1953, in Chanute, Kansas, she daughter of E.L. "Mac" and Rogene (Baldwin) McCullough. She married her high school sweetheart, Dale Ray Yowell, on January 16, 1971, and was married for 46 years to the love of her life.
She was a homemaker when her children were young. Later she worked at Corner Post Restaurant and Humboldt National Bank, where she enjoyed meeting and visiting with all the patrons.
One of the biggest joys in life was when her grandchildren Ty, Seth, and Peyton were born. Her grandchildren called her "Grr." Later she had the special blessing of becoming a great-grandmother. She helped care for her parents in their later years.
Randee loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. Randee and Dale loved camping and fishing at Roaring River State Park. More recently, she enjoyed watching cooking shows, Days of Our Lives, and House Hunters. She loved having the companionship of her little dog, J-Bug.
Randee was preceded in death by husband Dale; parents E.L. "Mac" and Rogene McCullough; in-laws Eldon C.B. and Ruth Yowell; and brothers-in-law Rick Hottenstein, Lyle Yowell, and Wayne Yowell.
Randee is survived by children Mikel Yowell and wife Sheri, Humboldt, Kansas, and Jeremy Yowell, Humboldt, Kansas; sister Timmee Hottenstein, Humboldt, Kansas; sisters-in-law Bonnie Yowell, Wichita, Kansas, and Patricia Yowell, Florida; grandchildren, Ty Yowell and wife Emily, DeWitt, Nebraska; Seth Yowell and Emilee Luedke, Iola, Kansas; and Peyton Yowell, Shawnee Mission, Kansas; great-grandchildren, McClain, Sutton, and Taytum; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
Memorial contributions in Randee's Honor may be made to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
