Ralph Eugene Dowell II, passed away September 28, 2023, at his home in Wichita, Kansas.
Ralph was born on January 21, 1958 to Ralph Eugene Dowell Sr. and Francis Violet (Reiter) Decker, the fifth of eight children.
Ralph attended school in Iola and graduated from Iola High with the class of 1976. Ralph retired from Precision Pattern, Inc. of Wichita, Kansas. He was an avid Chiefs and Jayhawks fan and could often be found watching them anytime they were playing. Ralph was a happy-go-lucky guy that always wore a smile on his face and was loved by everyone he met.
Ralph is survived by his siblings, Vicki Folk (Jerald) of Iola, Kansas, Sandra Ruckman (Bernie) of Jacksonville, Florida, Barbara Murry (Richard) of Iola, Kansas, Emma Stotler (Neeley) of Wichita, Kansas, Richard Dowell of Iola, Kansas, Ronnie Dowell (Debbie) of Burlington, Kansas; numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Edward Simpson and nephew Derek Simpson.
Graveside services will be on Friday October 13th, 2023, at 2:00 P.M., at Highland Cemetery in Iola, Kansas.
Memorial contributions are suggested to American Heart and Diabetes Association and can be left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Services.
