Paul "Roger" Blubaugh, age 92, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Richmond, Kansas.
Roger was born on April 5, 1933, to Oscar and Minnie (Krause) Blubaugh, in Bentley, Kansas. He was the fifth of ten children. In 1948, the Blubaugh family moved from Bentley to a farm in Anderson County, Kansas northeast of Westphalia.
Roger was united in marriage to Judy Hiestand on March 26, 1961 in Welda, Kansas. This union was blessed with three children, Cheryl, Cindy and Rodney. Roger farmed with his brother Russ, they grew row crops, milked and raised beef cattle. In 1985, they moved off the farm to Olathe, where he began driving trucks over the road. He retired at the age of 83 with accident free awards for over a million miles.
Roger loved his family and friends. He enjoyed talking and visiting with any and everyone. Story telling was a favorite pastime for him. Often saying "Have I told you this one? Well I'm tellin' ya again".
