Pamela Sue Rogers

Pamela Sue Rogers, age 70, of Iola, Kansas, passed away on June 3, 2026, at Medicalodges in Iola.

Pamela was born on September 25, 1955, in Iola, Kansas, to Edward Rogers and Helen (Lane) Rogers. Pamela was the oldest out of her 4 siblings and was the only girl to her 3 brothers, Edward "Buddy" O Rogers (Pamela L Rogers), Tracy D Rogers (Luan (Erbert) Rogers), and Micheal A. Rogers (Meredith Rogers). She grew up in the Iola area and spent much of her life in the community she called home.

Pamela graduated from Iola High school in 1974. In Pamela's senior year of high school she was part of STUCO, 4-H and class treasurer. Pamela valued education and lifelong learning. She earned an Associate Degree in Cosmetology from Fort Scott Community College and later obtained an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Coffeyville Community College. Pamela was the first black beautician in the area to receive her license to service the community of Iola, Kansas. Pamela went on to open up a beauty salon right out of the comfort of her home. She went on to name the salon PJT for Pamela, Jackie (her oldest), and Tim (her youngest). Pamela also worked at Arkhaven nursing home, was the Dietary Manager for Windsor Place- Medicalodges of Iola as well as many other nursing homes. Pamela was a lifelong member of Covenant of Faith Christian Center led by Pastor Phillip Honeycutt. Throughout her life, she enjoyed expressing her creativity through her artistic talents, her love of cooking, and her love for helping others.

Pamela is survived by her mother Helen Rogers, her brother Edward "Buddy" O. Rogers (Pamela L. Rogers), and her children, Jacquelyn (Rogers) French and Zach French and their 4, Micheal E. French, Israel Rogers, Micheal C French and Ecclesia French. Timothy and Tayleh Rogers along with their 5 kids, Ladayvion Rogers, Messiah Rogers, Brylan Hutton, Alleighana Rogers, Malaki Rogers.

Pamela had many nieces and nephews. Eleanor Singleton (Rodney Singleton), Tiffany Rogers (Tim West), and Serenity-Lee West.

Amanda Rogers (Riley Ridout), Jessica Rogers, Carter Warden, Mike Rogers (Diane Rogers), Shanele Enaboifo, Charles "Chuck" Rogers (Susie), Dewayne Rogers, Andrea Rogers (Tanner Doty), Zaveria "Zavi" Evans and many more.

Pamela will be remembered for her kind heart, independent spirit, the friendships she shared with those around her, and her love for Jesus. She touched the lives of many and leaves behind memories that will be cherished by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Rogers in February of 1991 and her two brothers, Tracy Rogers and Micheal Rogers in June 1990.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Helen (Lane) Rogers; along with other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in The Chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
