Olive Kresge

Olive Hannah Kresge, age 88, of Colony, Kansas, formerly of Napa, California, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, Kansas.

Olive was born on March 16, 1937, in Napa, California, to Victor and Grace Howard.

She was united in marriage to Gary Kresge, and they shared many years together before his passing.

Olive spent much of her life working in the service industry, where she owned and operated several bar-style restaurants. She had a true passion for hospitality and took great pride in serving others. Whether it was through a warm meal or a listening ear, Olive loved connecting with people and making them feel welcome.

She is survived by her son, Rick Cerruti of Colony, Kansas, Denny Veerkamp and wife Chenna of Napa, California and daughter Gina Veerkamp of Colony, Kansas and Donna Vanadrigham of Sacramento, California; sister, Wilma Couch of Napa, California.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to ACARF (Allen County Animal Rescue Facility) and may be taken directly to ACARF or left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
