Norman Wayne Stine

March 31, 1959 — April 10, 2023

Norman "Wayne" Stine age 64, passed away at his home surrounded by family on April 10, 2023, after a tough battle with cancer.

Wayne was the only son of five children born to Norman Grant and Audra Carol Stine on March 31, 1959, in Fort Scott, Kansas.

Wayne met Lisa in 2006 and they became inseparable. Wayne and Lisa spent every moment possible together making memories. Some of those unforgettable memories include going on poker runs, fishing, spending time at the ball fields and caring for cattle. Lisa gave her heart and soul to Wayne when he became ill, not leaving his side.

Wayne spent his life in Iola, Kansas, where he attended school and played many sports. His favorite places to be were either on the ball fields or on the seat of his Harley. His favorite hobbies include going fishing, golfing, mushroom hunting, playing horseshoes and hunting with his bird dogs.

Wayne is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Paul and Georgia Swisher, paternal grandparents Kenneth and Mildred Stine and his father Norman Stine.

Wayne is survived by the love of his life Lisa, of the home; his mother Audra Stine; daughter Amber (Jake) Lawrence of Hampstead, North Carolina; siblings, Paula (Larry) Goddard of Mound City, Kansas, Peggy (Kent) Frazell of Chanute, Kansas, Trish (Jon'e) LaHaye of Iola, Kansas, Penny (Dave) Taylor of Iola, Kansas; grandchildren Jayden, Jersey, and Jax Lawrence; and numerous other family members and friends.

Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Bronson Cemetery, Bronson, Kansas. Cremation has take place.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Integrity Hospice and can be left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Hwy 54, Iola, Kansas 66749.
