Naomi Jane Pratt, age 92, of Iola, Kansas, passed away February 15, 2022, at Moran Manor, Moran, Kansas. Janie was born February 3, 1930, in Oklahoma to Cecil Runer and Marie (Medearis) Runer.
Janie graduated in 1948 from Iola High School. She and Harvey Pratt were married July 26, 1953, in Iola, Kansas.
Janie worked as a bookkeeper in Iola for a number of years before opening a daycare in her home, taking care of Iola children for many years.
Janie loved to go shopping. She enjoyed collecting antiques.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers.
Janie is survived by her husband, Harvey, of the home; daughter, Julie (Dana) Watson, Independence, Kansas; son, Kenneth Pratt, LaHarpe, Kansas; granddaughter, Shannon (Joel) Grillot, Lawrence, Kansas; grandson, Jason Watson, Independence, Kansas; and great-grandchildren, Trey and Ryan.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas,
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and may be left with
Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas.
