Linda K. Maloney, age 75, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at Arrowood Lane Assisted Living in Humboldt, Kansas.
Linda was born September 21, 1946, to Lewis and Dorthea (Woodcock) Varvel. She graduated with the Class of 1964 from LeRoy High School in LeRoy, Kansas. Linda married William E. Maloney on September 20, 1964. Their union was blessed with two children. Linda and her husband owned and operated Maloney's Electric from the early 1980's until 2003.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Maloney; and parents, Lewis and Dorthea Varvel.
Linda is survived by her sons, Bryan Maloney and wife, Pam, of Humboldt, Kansas, and James Maloney and wife, Jennifer, of Goodview, Virginia; grandchildren, Jorie Maloney, Jadyn Maloney, Justin Maloney, and Joshua Maloney; siblings, Sandra Mefford, David Varvel, and Barbara McDonald; and numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service to honor the life of Linda will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the Gridley Cemetery in Gridley, Kansas. Family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 25, 2022, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola, Kansas, the night prior to the service.
Memorials in honor of Linda are suggested to Horizon Hospice-NMRMC and may be left with the funeral home or mailed to 1883 U.S. Highway 54, Iola, Kansas, 66749. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.feuerbornfuneral.com .
