Lester B. Edwards

Lester B. Edwards, age 76, of Moran, Kansas, passed away February 16, 2022, at the Overland Park Center For Rehab, Overland Park, Kansas. Lester was born January 15, 1946, in Picher, Oklahoma, to Charles Edwards and Mamie (Thompson) Edwards.

Lester graduated from Chetopa High School in Chetopa, Kansas. Lester and Shirley Connor were married in Iola, Kansas, on December 17, 1978.

Lester worked a number of years for the Allen County Road and Bridge Department.

Lester enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; and an infant son.

Lester is survived by his wife, Shirley, of the home; step-sons, James (Sharon) Harclerode, Bronson, Kansas, Darin (Renea) Harclerode, Iola, Kansas; and step-grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Elizabeth, John Harclerode, Bronson, Kansas.

Cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time.
