Kathy Lynn Vaughan, age 66, of Princeton, Kansas, passed away December 20, 2025, at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. Kathy was born March 12, 1959, in Chanute, Kansas, to Donald R. Shields and Barbara R. (Shultz) Bancroft.
Kathy attended school in Chanute and Humboldt. Kathy was a homemaker.
Kathy liked gardening, bird watching, landscaping, and she liked to explore by taking walks. She loved her grandchildren and she was devoted to them, and each grandkid thought they were grandma's favorite. Kathy was fond of her fur babies.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Donald; and sisters, Linda Hottenstein, Tricia Ostrander.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Barbara; children, Jeanne Head, Rhonda (Robert Meier) Silvis, Dustin (Jennifer) Silvis, Charles Silvis; grandchildren, Winter Moore, Kaine Moore, Sky Head, Raymond Head, Tyler Silvis, Hayden Silvis, Maddox Meier, Jasmine Silvis, Brandon McKarnin, Alexandra Silvis, Abigail Silvis, Holli Howard, Brooklyn Silvis, Charles Silvis, Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Watts, Connie Anglani, Cindy Reynolds, Lisa Ross; her fur baby, Marley; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned. Inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas 66749.
