Kathleen Allen

Kathleen Louise Allen, age 77, of Humboldt, Kansas, passed away March 10, 2024, at Neosho Memorial Hospital in Chanute, Kansas. Kathy was born December 10, 1946, in Fontana, California, to Harry Jordan and Isabell (Strong) Jordan.

Kathy worked as an administrative assistant and retired from Americold Logistics. After she retired, Kathy found her true love in quilting, where she found many great friends.

Kathy was involved in her church, St. Patrick Catholic Church, Chanute, Kansas, where she was a Eucharistic minister, helped with Adoration, made quilts for fundraisers.

Kathy enjoyed her trips to quilting shops with friends to buy material, take quilting classes, and to socialize, and her friends were always glad when Kathy didn't drive. She donated many quilts to help others, including cancer auctions, Quilts of Valor, and children's causes.

Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren. She liked going to the grandkid's sporting events and taking them on birthday trips.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Kenneth Jordan.

Kathy is survived by her son, Greg (Pam) Kline; grandchildren, Breanna (Tye) Taylor, Joseph Kline; great-grandson, Tate Taylor due in May 2024; sister, Donna (Bill) Tito; nieces, Stacey (Chris) Mobley, Tara (Ben) Scott; nephew, Bob (Tammy) Jordan; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Humboldt, Kansas. Inurnment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Chanute, Kansas, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
