Dr. John D. Atkin III, age 90, of Yates Center, passed at his home July 14, 2025, peacefully with his family by his side. Dr. Atkin dedicated decades of his life practicing medicine and taking care of his patients.
A memorial service will be held to honor Dr. Atkin's life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Town Hall, 201 South Main Street, Yates Center, Kansas.
A luncheon will follow the service at the Light Hardware Building.
The family suggests donations be made to the Dr. John D. Atkin III Memorial Fund in care of GN Bank, Yates Center, Kansas.
