Jacob "Jake" Nathaniel Kale, age 26, passed away in Mulberry, Kansas on May 3, 2025.
Jake was born on January 26, 1999 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Kenneth and Stacey Kale. In 2005, the family moved to Jake's great-grandparent's, Keith and Norene Hobart's, homeplace of Moran, Kansas. From the fourth grade on, Jake attended Marmaton Valley schools and graduated in 2017. After graduation, he attended the Missouri Welding Institute in Nevada, Missouri.
Once Jake finished at the Missouri Welding Institute, he worked as a welding contractor in various jobs around the Midwest, intent on improving his welding skills. His current position was at J. Price Energy Services, primarily in New Mexico.
When Jake was not working, he enjoyed deer, boar, and coyote hunting, and fishing on the bank of any river he could find throughout Southeast Kansas and into Missouri. Jake was an all around outdoorsman. He liked to ride his side-by-side through trails whenever he got the time. Recently, he bought a farm house with 50 acres in Arcadia, Kansas, just down the road from his best bud, Brock. Most days, he could be found working or hunting on the farm.
Jake loved to include his brothers and friends in his adventures, always seeking out new ways to spend time with them all. He was close to all four of his brothers, making sure to spend time with each one every chance he got. Along with his family, Jake also cherished his black lab, Gus, who you could always find right at Jake's side.
Jake was preceded in death by grandparents, Roberta Andrus and Larry Coleman; and good friend, Connor Clifton.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth "Ken" Kale and partner Jill Allen; mother, Stacey Kale and partner Dr. Tim Spears; brothers, Cody and wife Melanie, Josh, Jared, and Joe Kale; grandparents, Larry Andrus and Alice Coleman; niece, Sadie Kale; friends and neighbors, Brock Hall and Shayla Brooks; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
