Fred D. Cramer, age 76, of Humboldt, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Chanute, Kansas.
Fred David Cramer was born on March 9, 1950, in Iola, Kansas, to Fredrick and Anna Cramer. He later built a career as a truck driver, working for Nelson Quarry.
Fred was a strong and dependable man who could fix just about anything. He had a natural ability to work with his hands and took great pride in keeping things running. He especially enjoyed working on antique cars, a passion that brought him many hours of enjoyment.
Above all, Fred cherished his family. He deeply loved his wife, Sandra, and treasured the time he spent with his sons. Some of his favorite memories were made working side by side with his sons, sharing his knowledge, fixing things, and enjoying their time together.
Fred was also a strong supporter of FFA and the values it represented. He believed in the importance of hard work, dedication, responsibility, and learning skills that could be carried throughout life.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Anna Cramer; and his son, David Cramer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Kay Cramer; his son Dennis Cramer; and other family and friends who will remember him for his strength, willingness to help, and ability to fix almost anything.
A Celebration of Life service will be heldat 10:00 am on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Hwy 54, Iola, Kansas. Inurnment will follow in the Moran Cemetery, Moran, Kansas.
Memorial Contributions in Fred's Honor may be made to and left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, to help defray funeral expenses.
