Frank James Goudy, Jr

Frank "Frankie" James Goudy, Jr., age 60, passed away on December 18, 2023, at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Frankie was born on April 3, 1963, in Atchison, Kansas, to Frank J. Goudy, Sr. and Mathilda "Jean" (Geisen) Goudy. He was one of four children. Frankie graduated from Iola High School with the class of 1981.

Frankie was a dedicated employee at Russell Stover Chocolates since the day they opened their doors. He began his years-long career there, and even had a nine-year streak of never missing a single day of work. Prior to Russell Stover, Frankie worked at Perry's Restaurant and IMP Boats in Iola.

Fishing was a favorite pastime of Frankie's. He also loved wrestling, collecting hot wheels cars, and enjoyed watching any kind of car race. If it threw some dirt, he was happy. Frankie cherished his time with his nieces and nephews, always remembering to bring them candy. Overall, he was a happy person who led a simple life.

Frankie is preceded in death by both parents; sister, Rebecca "Becky" Jean Goudy; sister-in-law, Rhiannon Lockridge; and nephew, Remington Goudy.

Frankie is survived by siblings, Clara Ruth Ellis and Charlie Goudy; niece, Natasha (Levi) Boan; nephews, Brendan (Lendsey) Ellis and Benjamin Goudy; great-nieces, Chloey, Elleigh Mae, and Aurora Boan, Kayleigh and Ryleigh Ellis; great-nephew, Kayleb Ellis; and many other friends in the community.

A funeral service is planned for Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Warriors of Allen County. Condolences to the family may be left at www.feuerbornfuneral.com .
