Elnora Mae Jackman Stanley of Humboldt, Kansas passed away March 1, 2023 peacefully at her home with family at her side at age 102.
Elnora was born April 25, 1920, in Gas, Kansas, to Henry H. and Fay C. (Pope) Jackman, the only daughter of three children.
Elnora grew up in Gas, Kansas where she attended grade school, when going to high school in Iola, her and a group of school mates would walk to school from Gas.
On May 11, 1938, Elnora was united in marriage to Cline W. Stanley. This marriage brought six beautiful daughters into the world. Cline and Elnora were very hard workers in their life.
Elnora was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards, making ceramics, sewing. She had a great love for singing and taking photos with her Kodak. Elnora was a very avid Royals fan just like her mom, there wasn't a fact she couldn't tell you about the team. Elnora loved her family dearly, she spent many days not only with her immediate family, but it also included all of her family. Family dinners were a great passion of hers. She will be remembered dearly for her sweet sayings and the love and care she gave to all.
Elnora is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter Roxie Page; one granddaughter; three sons-in-law and two brothers.
Elnora is survived by her daughters, Dixie Newkirk of Humboldt, Kansas, Jackie (Dennis) Guenther of Humboldt, Kansas, Linda Jo Crismas of Humboldt, Kansas, Shirley Luker of Coffeyville, Kansas, Rae Lynn (Randy) Olson of Altoona, Kansas; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday March 6, 2023 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service at 1883 HWY 54, Iola, Kansas, burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, Kansas.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Neosho Horizon Hospice and can be left in the care of Feuerborn Funeral Service.
