Doris Rosalee Clark was born on April 30, 1939, in Gas City, Kansas, to Harley and Charlene (Saling) Clark.
Rosalee spent her early childhood in Missouri before returning to Kansas, where she graduated from Iola High School. Throughout her life, Rosalee was a woman of strong faith, actively involved with both the Calvary United Methodist Church in Iola and the Catholic Church in El Dorado.
Her professional life was marked by dedication and compassion. She began her career at the PIC Theatre during high school and later worked as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell. She also contributed her talents to H.L. Miller & Son before finding her true calling at Dr. Reddy's Oncology Office in El Dorado. Rosalee was a vibrant individual who enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved visiting casinos and cherished the memories made while camping with her family in her early years. She was also a fan of classic western movies. Giving back to her community was important to Rosalee; she volunteered her time at Susan B. Allen Hospital and was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
On November 24, 1957, Rosalee married Bob Heslop. Together, they welcomed three children: Martin (Susie) Heslop, Scott Heslop, and Jana (Dan) Holton. Bob passed away on May 19, 1993. She remarried Robert Nelson on July 18, 1997. Robert passed away on March 14, 2021. Rosalee was a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love and family.
