Darin Lee Harclerode

Darin Lee Harclerode, age 49, of Iola, Kansas, passed away February 2, 2024, in Bourbon County, Kansas, near Bronson, Kansas, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Darin was born April 13, 1974, in Kansas City, Missouri, to James M. Harclerode and Shirley (Conner) Edwards.

Darin attended school in Kansas City. He worked as a caretaker for the rural water district at Xenia Lake Watershed.

Darin and Renee Trabuc were married September 21, 2001, at Mount Orion in Uniontown, Kansas.

Darin liked being outdoors, where he enjoyed fishing, nature walks, and motorcycles. He also enjoyed gardening and even planted an apple tree from seed. Darin enjoyed spending time with friends. He was an avid collector of many things. Most importantly, Darin loved his wife, family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Darin was preceded in death by his father.

Darin is survived by his wife, Renee Harclerode, of the home; son, Tyler Ramsey; three step-daughters, Andrea (Robby) Larsen, Annie Tush, Kayleigh Clendenny; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, James (Sharon) Harclerode; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to honor Darin's life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A private family inurnment will follow in the Colony Cemetery, Colony, Kansas.
