Christopher "Chris" Ray Wright, age 42, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at his home in Parsons, Kansas.
Chris was born December 21, 1979, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Raymond Lee and Lila Ruth (Harner) Wright. Chris attended Hirschi High School in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he graduated with the class of 1998. After high school, Chris furthered his education at Vernon College in Wichita Falls as well.
Chris loved spending time playing video games and searching for comic books. He was very strong in his beliefs and was always trying to right the wrongs of the world.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Lila Wright.
Chris is survived by his father, Raymond Wright; siblings, Tisha Arana and Adam Wright; and numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola, Kansas. Inurnment will take place following the service at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Humboldt, Kansas.
Memorials in honor of Chris are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and may be left with the funeral home or mailed to 1883 U.S. Highway 54, Iola, Kansas, 66749. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.feuerbornfuneral.com .
