Charles Wilson

Charles "Chuck" Lewis Wilson, age 66, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri on March, 22, 2024.

Chuck was born on January 6, 1958 to Donald and Patty (Roath) Wilson. He grew up in and around Woodson County, Kansas. On September 22, 1978, he married Janeen Wilson in Iola, Kansas. Together they raised three children, Charles R., Alisha, and Jeffrey.

Chuck liked to live life on the edge. He played guitar and liked to ride his son's motorcycle, and definitely had a wild side. Chuck also loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father; wife; brother, Robert Wilson; and sister, Donna Byerly.

He is survived by his mother; sister, Teressa Miller; daughter, Alisha (Jesus) Melendez; sons, Jeffrey Wilson and Charles R. (Lindsay) Wilson; grandchildren, Jayden, Masyn, Ella, Brynleigh, Kalley (Thealvin) Minor, Kaisha (Austin) Snyder, Tyler Melendez, Jesse Melendez, Raylea Wilson, Devon Wilson, Morgan Wilson, Kollyn Wilson, and Emma Wilson; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Minor, Landyn Minor, Kaiser Snyder, Cannon Snyder, and Jesse Melendez; and many other friends and family.

A funeral service is planned for Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54 in Iola, Kansas. Interment will immediately follow at Yates Center Cemetery in Yates Center, Kansas. Family will greet friends at a visitation Monday, March 25, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m in The Venue at Feuerborn's.
