Charles Keith Valentine, age 80, passed away on April 26. 2025, at Allen County Regional Hospital. Keith was born second of seven children to Virgle and Onella (Gumfory) Valentine on July 12, 1944, in Iola, Kansas.
Keith graduated from Iola High School. He joined the Navy and served in Vietnam from 1961 to 1965.
Keith enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He worked various jobs in his lifetime. At one time, he was the owner of Zero Lockers. He retired from Russell Stover Chocolates. After his retirement he enjoyed hanging out with friends at Denny's Sports Center, and going home to his dog Tink.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Virgle Royce Valentine and Jack Valentine.
Keith is survived by two sons, Vernon (Lisa) Valentine, Garnett, Kansas, Charles Calvin (Tina) Valentine, Carbondale, Kansas; two brothers, John "Bud" (Penny) Valentine, Washington State, Earl Valentine, Neosho Falls, Kansas; two sisters, Lela (Randy) Hurlock, Gas, Kansas, Marta (Danny) Riebel, Iola, Kansas; eight grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
As per his request, Keith has been cremated and there will be no services.
Memorials are suggested to Wings of Warriors, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
