Charles Lowell Brecheisen, age 75, of Colony, Kansas, passed away September 1, 2024, at Moran Manor, Moran, Kansas. Charles was born December 5, 1948, at the Putman Nursing Home in Garnett, Kansas, to Lowell Brecheisen and Ruth (Bloom) Brecheisen.
Charles graduated in 1968 from Crest High School, Colony, Kansas. He and Roberta Michael were married August 14, 1971, in Westphalia, Kansas.
Charles was an avid Royals and Chiefs fan. He enjoyed his tool collection and he was always available to help friends and family with their projects.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Virginia Hartman.
Charles is survived by his wife, Roberta, of the home; daughters, Angie (Charley) Gates, Michele Brecheisen; son, Derek (Leslie) Brecheisen; sister, Patty Schaffer; and grandchildren, Seville Gates, Emitt Gates.
A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, Iola, Kansas. Inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, in St. Teresa Cemetery, Westphalia, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to St. John's Catholic Church, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
