Betty Jo Larney

Betty Jo Larney, age 79, of Iola, Kansas, passed away November 20, 2022, at St. Luke's North, Kansas City, Missouri. Betty Jo was born December 30, 1942, in Blue Mound, Kansas, to John Fosdick and June (Tullis) Fosdick.

Betty Jo graduated in 1960 from Blue Mound High School, Blue Mound, Kansas. Betty Jo and John Larney were married July 25, 1970, in Iola, Kansas. She worked for Haldex in Iola, Kansas, for 30+ years.

Betty Jo liked wolves, squirrels, and cats. She enjoyed spending time in her yard.
Betty Jo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and sisters, Connie Prock, Thelma Mittelmeier.

Betty Jo is survived by sons, Joshua (Samatha) Larney, Iola, Kansas, Jason Larney, Iola, Kansas; grandchildren, Zeph Larney, Micaiah Larney, Keaton Larney, Konner Larney; brother, Lyle (Crystal) Fosdick, Iola, Kansas; and sister, Cindy (Don) Dauben, Lamar, Missouri.

A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), which may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
