Barry David Maley, age 68, of Moran, Kansas, Passed away June 20, 2026, as the result of a motorcycle and deer collision. Barry was born December 12, 1957, in Iola, Kansas, to Bobbie Dale Maley and Audrey Irene (Moore) Maley.
Barry graduated in 1975 from Marmaton Valley High School, Moran, Kansas. He worked as a mechanic and tow truck service operator.
Barry enjoyed visiting casinos, traveling, and riding his motorcycle. He liked driving fast and was an avid collector of classic cars, motorcycles, and anything with wheels. He enjoyed attending auctions, spending time with family and friends, and extending his knowledge and opinions to others, especially telemarketers. Barry enjoyed life, living fast, and was always on the move.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents.
Barry is survived by his daughter, Candace (Justin) Showalter; step-sons, Justin (Aubrey) Duft, Tyler (Courtney) Burke, Travis (Megan) Burke, Chad (Hayleigh) Stanford; siblings, Barbara Watkins, Harry Maley, Peggy (Daryl) Mathews, Dale (Nancy) Maley; grandchildren, Connor Maley, Gavin Showalter; Tate Duft, Colt Duft, Lainey Duft, Payton Burke, Tegan Burke, Brylee Burke, Macie Stokes, Jack Stanford, Greyleigh Stanford; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A funeral service will be on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Moran Cemetery, Moran, Kansas.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Moran America Legion, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
