Wanda Sue Edwards

Wanda “Sue” Edwards, age 81, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at her home in Neosho Falls, Kansas.

Sue was born September 22, 1939 to Lawrence C. and Audrey A. (Baker) Horn in Iola, Kansas. Sue graduated from Iola High School with the class of 1957. She married Charles Edwards on October 6, 1957 in Iola. Their union was blessed with two children, Teresa and David.

Sue loved to garden and pull weeds. You could find her in the kitchen making extraordinary meals for her family. She was an avid lover of country and gospel music. She also loved to sew, read, and she was known for being very crafty. Her grand and great-grandchildren meant the world to her!

Sue is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Helen Faye Miller, Richard Dale Horn, and Ronald Horn.

Sue is survived by husband of 63 years, Charles Edwards; children, Teresa Edwards and David Edwards and wife, Janelle; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

Services to honor Sue’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola, Kansas. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Iola. Family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, January 18, 2021 in The Venue at the funeral home. Masks will be required for all services.
