Robert "Bob" E. Cramer

Robert Eugene "Bob" Cramer, 89, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on May 16, 2023. He entered this world on February 24, 1934 in Garnett, KS, born to Stanley and Lena Cramer.

Bob grew up in Garnett and graduated high school in 1952. He served in the Air Force from 1953 - 1957. He then went to work at the Boeing Company in Wichita. In 1958 Bob joined his parents working at Cramer & Son Sheet Metal Shop and later bought the business when his parents retired. He also worked as a rural mail carrier until 2006, shortly before moving to Stillwater, OK.

Bob was an accomplished craftsman and enjoyed woodworking. He and his wife Glenda enjoyed many years exhibiting at craft shows through out the Midwest until her passing in 1992. It was during this time he developed a passion for stained glass. He enjoyed attending land learning new techniques, teachings classes and making windows. His stained glass projects are still enjoyed by many including the Anderson County Courthouse windows.

In 1997 Bob attended a stained glass class in Wichita and met Glenna. They were married in May 1998 and lived in Garnett until 2007. He continued to expand his stain glass talents and woodworking skills.

In 2014 he began a new career as a dog kennel owner. He and Glenna named their new business, 4 Paws Inn. They had over 400 regular customers that were sad when they sold the business. Bob enjoyed their koi fish ponds, gardening, and mastering HGTV projects in their home.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 34 years Glenda Jo Cramer, brother Bill Cramer and sister Betty Campbell.

He is survived by his wife Glenna Cramer; daughter Lise Wichert and husband Jerry of Stillwater, OK; son Darren Cramer and wife Shayla of Altus, OK; step-son Rusty Henry and wife Mariah of Euless, TX; step-son Glen Henry and wife DeeAnne of Stillwater, OK; step-daughter Tracy Knight of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren Tiffany Hynson and husband Jason of Springfield, MO; Justin Wichert and wife Susie of Hays, KS; Sinjin Cramer and wife Tabitha of Broken Arrow, OK; Creighton Cramer and wife Beatriz of Altus, OK; Tuesday and Chloe Henry of Euless, TX; Abby Henry of Dallas, TX; Caroline Henry of Stillwater,OK; Kade, Roane, and Milan Knight of Stillwater, OK; great-grandchildren Gabe, Lily, Nate, Danny, Titus, Lissy and Lina Hynson; Emma, Wally and Ozzie Wichert; Emmersyn and Reese Cramer; and Ava and Lilliana Cramer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, 219 S. Oak St., Garnett, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Garnett Cemetery. Bob's family will greet friends from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Karman Legacy Hospice and left in care of the funeral home.
