Robert Isaac Gregory, age 62, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away on December 24, 2021, at his residence. Bob was born July 26, 1959, in Iola, Kansas, to George R. Gregory and Vena (Cuppy) Gregory.
Bob attended Allen Community College, Iola, Kansas. He worked in construction and as a bail enforcement agent.
Bob was a member of ABATE and BACA.
Bob enjoyed the freedom of the open road. In his earlier years, he enjoyed riding his horse, "Prince." The apple-of-his-eye was granddaughter Isabelle.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Gregory, Elvis Ray Gregory; sister, Mary Splechter,; granddaughter, Skye Berntsen; and great-niece, Alessandra (Ally) Throckmorton.
Bob is survived by his sister, Bessie (Rick) Crowell, children, Shauna Berntsen (Brandon), LaHarpe, Kansas, Jordan (The Adventurer) Stiffler, Jennifer Granger, Springfield, Missouri, Adam Hodo; grandchildren, Isabelle, Hunter, Jaxson Berntsen, LaHarpe, Kansas; best friend, Kelly Baylor, Chanute, Kansas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Cremation will take place. A memorial service to honor Bob's life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. Inurnment will follow in the Iola Township Cemetery, Piqua, Kansas.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Wings of Warriors, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
