Mr. Robert L Bennett

Robert L. (Bob) Bennett, passed away peacefully at his home in Iola, Ks, on August 2, at the age of 64. Bob was born June 3, 1955, to Leroy Bennett and Norma jean (Dickens) Bennett. In Neodesha Ks. Bob graduted from Brazosport High school in Freeport Tx in 1973.
Bob worked for Nelson Quarries, for 29 yrs. Bob and Mary Dietrich were married on March 28, 1981, in Iola, Ks. Bob loved spending time with his grandchildren Phoenix Bennett of the home and Ryan Wools, Mercede Wools, Isabella Sigler and Alivya Bennett Iola, Ks. , He was an awesome, gentle & loving Papa. He enjoyed watching the KC Chiefs play, watching the Food Network and the DIY channel.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents & four children Jeremy Dale, Seth (Andy), Morgen Gene, And Christina Marie. Bob is survived by his wife Mary of the home his son Robert L Bennett Jr. Iola, Ks. and Daughter in law Kimberly Sigler, his Sisters Bonnie Sebesta, Damon Tx. Kathy Bennett, Brazoria, Tx. and a brother Marty Bennett and wife Robbin of welda, Ks. and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and services will be at a later date.
