Rickey W. Booe, age 68, of Humboldt, Kansas, passed away on September 19, 2020, at Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola, Kansas. Rickey was born on September 1, 1952, in Chanute, Kansas, to Lloyd Booe and Anna (Wade) Booe.
Rickey graduated from Chanute High School. After high school, he joined the Navy and served his country for 15 years. He then worked Iowa Beef in Emporia, Kansas, for 21 years and Walmart for the last 12 years.
Rickey and Vickie Norton were married on October 2, 1976, in Humboldt, Kansas.
Rickey liked to tell stories, play guitars (Blondie and Dagwood), take pictures, and torment his sisters. He enjoyed entertaining others.
Rickey was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice Jean Morris; brother, Danny Bruce Booe; nephew, Danny Lee Morris; and great-nephew, Nathaniel Morris.
Rickey is survived by his wife, Vickie, of the home; sisters, Sandra Hurst and husband, Richard, Humboldt, Kansas, Nancy Culbertson and companion, Harold Trent, Iola, Kansas; brother Rex Allen Booe, Larned, Kansas; and numerous other relatives.
Rickey was cremated and no services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas.
