Louise Johns

Martha Louise Johns, age 80, of Humboldt, Kansas, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Louisburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, Louisburg, Kansas. Louise was born March 15, 1939, in Iola, Kansas, to Floyd Culbertson and Pearl (Creason) Culbertson. She attended school in Iola, Kansas. Louise and Richard Johns were married on June 7, 1957, in Iola, Kansas. Louise enjoyed being a homemaker. She liked crocheting, gardening, and growing flowers. Louise is remembered as a loving grandmother. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; brother, Steve Whitney; sister, Ruby Foster; step-granddaughter, LaTausha Folk-Cavins; and step-great-granddaughter, Jade Estelle Cavins. Louise is survived by son, Tom Johns and wife, Tina, Linn Valley, Kansas; brother, Wayne Culbertson and wife, Jean, Metter, Georgia; sister, Barbara Scott and husband, Jack, Humboldt, Kansas; grandchildren, Richard Johns and wife, Juliet, Ellis, Kansas, Clint Johns, Humboldt, Kansas, Amanda Johns, Humboldt, Kansas; step-grandson, Darrin Folk, Napa, California; and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas.
