Linda S. Shaw

Linda Sue Shaw, age 74, of Iola, Kansas, passed away April 15, 2022, at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. Linda was born April 23, 1947, in Emporia, Kansas, to Orville Dunmire and Emma Sue (Tinsley) White. Linda and James Shaw married on July 10, 1975, in Iola, Kansas. She worked for Haldex Brake Manufacturing in Iola for over thirty years. Linda also worked at Casey's General Store in Iola and LTA in Ottawa, Kansas. Linda enjoyed bowling, dancing, and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She also liked gambling and buying lottery tickets. Linda was an avid collector of Betty Boop memorabilia. When she wasn't working, she liked to garden, can vegetables, and bake. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons; one daughter; and two grandchildren. Linda is survived by four children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister. A visitation for Linda will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service. Inurnment will be at a later date in Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas.
