Kevin G. Smith

Kevin G. Smith, age 52, of Iola, Kansas, passed away January 18, 2021, at his residence. Kevin was born May 21, 1968, in Iola, Kansas, to Robert Smith and Maxine (Prock) Smith.

Kevin graduated in 1987 from Iola High School. Kevin and Jacqueline Porambo were married on August 10, 2010, in Iola, Kansas.

Kevin was self-employed as a diesel and auto mechanic.

Kevin enjoyed woodworking, fishing, car racing, and Kansas City Chiefs football. He loved to mow his yard and be outside during summer. Kevin liked the ocean and walking on the beach while casting fishing pole.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Porambo, of the home; daughter, Kadin Smith, Iola, Kansas; son, Dejay, Iola, Kansas; six step-children, Tessa Bain, Daniel, Teddy, Carrie, Kyler, Adam; seven grandchildren, one niece; five nephews; and siblings, Debbie Smith, Garnett, Kansas, Wayne Smith, Catoosa, Oklahoma, Janie Smith, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Valerie Smith, Iola, Kansas, Joe Smith, Owasso, Oklahoma, and twin brother, Steven Smith, Iola, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
