Jewell Ann Eastman, age 67, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at her home in Richmond, Kansas.
Jewell was born January 30, 1955, to Harvey and Alice (Goodrich) Taylor, in Kansas City, Kansas.
She graduated from Paola High School. Upon graduation, she furthered her education at Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas.
Jewell married Robert Eastman on April 4, 1971, in Paola, Kansas. Their union was blessed with two children; Jeremy Eastman (Stacey) of Ottawa, Kansas, and Samantha Richardson of Greeley, Kansas.
Jewell was an artist and shared her talents in paint, music, quilting and numerous crafts that she enjoyed. She gave of herself by pouring her heart and creativity into the children of Bethel Christian Academy for over 20 years, serving as the art teacher for the school. She gave many private lessons to friends and family.
Jewell is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marie Taylor, and brother, Dale Taylor, an infant son, and two granddaughters: Jazzmen and Miranda.
Jewell is survived by her husband, Robert Eastman, of the home, her children and 5 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
Memorials in honor of Jewell are suggested for medical expenses to Eastman family fund or Bethel Christian Academy and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Garnett, Kansas.
