Jeremy Francis

Jeremy Robert Francis, age 33, of Iola, Kansas, passed away on January 12, 2021, at the Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola, Kansas. Jeremy was born July 22, 1987, in Bryan, Ohio, to Robert Francis and Theresa (Snyder) Francis.

Jeremy graduated in 2006 from Bryan High School, Bryan, Ohio. He attended and graduated with an associate’s degree from Allen Community College, Iola, Kansas.

Jeremy worked in the food service industry.

Jeremy enjoyed collecting and demonstrating swords from his sword collection. He liked to attend Komikon and the Renaissance Festival in Kansas City. Jeremy was currently writing a video game and several books. He loved experiencing life.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Francis; and maternal grandfather, Merlyn Snyder.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Robert and Theresa Francis, Iola, Kansas; his girlfriend and best friend, Carolyn Appleton, Iola, Kansas; sisters, Debra Francis and finace, Noel Still, Independence, Kansas, Harmony Clark, Iola, Kansas, Jessica Francis, Iola, Kansas; paternal grandmother, Donave Francis, Bryan, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Rosalie Snyder, Swanton, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas, with the Rev. David L. Cauley presiding.

Memorials are suggested to the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
