Janet Kay Lucas, age 61, of Iola, Kansas, passed away at her home on August 4, 2020. Janet was born on October 14, 1958, in Iola, Kansas, to Robert Lucas and Delia (Wiley) Lucas.
Janet graduated in 1977 from Iola High School. Janet never married was a homemaker.
Janet loved animals, especially horses. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Gene Lucas.
Janet is survived by two sisters, Peggy Lucas and Tammy Lucas, Iola, Kansas; three nephews, Jason Helkenberg, Texas, Brandon Helkenberg, Coffeyville, Kansas, James Helkenberg and wife, Kim, Coffeyville, Kansas; and one niece, April Lucas, Belleville, Kansas.
Janet was cremated and no service is planned at this time.
Memorials are suggested to Janet Lucas Memorial Fund, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
