James Frederick Nixon, age 82, of LaHarpe, Kansas, passed away November 25, 2021, at the Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola, Kansas. Jim was born September 17, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Ruth (Barr) Nixon.
Jim earned a college degree and worked for many years in the banking industry and later for Diebolt Lumber in LaHarpe, Kansas.
Jim enjoyed talking to people and eating at Tina's Place in Gas, Kansas. He liked operating his favorite hobby of Hamm Radios.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother.
Jim is survived by numerous friends.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned.
Memorials are suggested to the Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
