Faron L. Wilson

Faron Lee Wilson, age 66, of Iola, Kansas, passed away August 7, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Faron was born February 21, 1956, in Iola, Kansas, to Earnest Wilson and Marcella (Tindel) Wilson.

Faron graduated in 1974 from Iola High School. He worked as a farm equipment painter for Hay and Forage, Hesston, Kansas, before he retired in 2018. He worked for Marion County, Kansas, after his retirement.

Faron and Barbara Grogan were married in 1974 in Iola, Kansas. They later divorced. Faron and Beverly Robinson were married September 12, 1992, in Newton, Kansas.

Faron loved fishing, gardening, western movies, and woodworking. He enjoyed family and tormenting the grandkids.

Faron was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly; and brothers, David Wilson, Justin Wilson, Wesley Wilson.

Faron is survived by daughters, Barbara (Tony Wynn) Wilson, LaHarpe, Kansas, Roxanne (Brett Van Gundy) Robinson, Emporia, Kansas; son, Ben (Shauna Keyhill) Wilson, Independence, Missouri; grandchildren, Austin Wynn, Cierra (Joe) Hyden, Lucas Wynn, Taven Wynn, Kylee Wilson, Cody (Devyn) Wynn; great-grandchildren, Journey Wynn, Kassilyn Hyden; brothers, Mark (Carol) Wilson, Gas, Kansas, Matthew (Barbara) Wilson, Ft. Scott, Kansas, and numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A funeral service honoring Faron's life will at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, Kansas.
