Dora Lou Clements

Dora Lou Clements, age 87, of Humboldt, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019, at her home. Dora was born September 28, 1931, in Iola, Kansas to Frank V. and Helen I. (Demoret) Folkner.

Dora graduated from Iola High School in 1948. Dora married William R. "Bill” Clements on May 29, 1948, in Iola, Kansas. To this union four sons were born. Dora was a homemaker, stay at home wife, and grandma.

Dora loved having her children, grandkids and great-grandkids around. Cooking enough food during those times to feed an army. She was a great football mom and later football Grand-mom. Dora also enjoyed college football.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son Steve Clements; and brother Albert Folkner.

Dora is survived by three sons Bob Clements and wife Lana, Emporia, David Clements and wife Gail, Comanche, Iowa, and Craig Clements and wife Lori, Buffalo; seven grandchildren Joe Bob Clements and wife Pelusa, Jeb Clements and wife Amy, Jason Clements and wife Kira, Stephen Clements and wife Erika, Dakotah Clements and wife Courtney, Kara Schultz and husband Adam, Veronica Lilly and husband Jared; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Dora will be 10:30 am Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Mount Hope Cemetery Humboldt, Ks. The family will greet friends from 9:00 – 10:00 am before the graveside service in the Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola
