Dale E. "Bobby" Williams

Dale E. “Bobby” Williams, age 69, of Garnett, Kansas passed away on April 24, 2020, at Anderson County Hospital, Garnett.
Bobby was born on February 11, 1951, at Garnett, Kansas. He was the fifth of six children born to Everett and Lola (Fagg) Williams. He grew up in Garnett, attending school there. Following school, Bobby worked at various odd jobs before working as a police officer in Yates Center, Kansas. He then worked as a metal shear operator for several years at Burico Industries in Waverly. Bobby later worked as a receptionist for Home To Home in Garnett.
In July 1977 Bobby married Bonita Henley, two sons were born to their union, they later divorced. In 1982, Bobby and Donna Webber were married in Garnett. They made their home in Garnett and enjoyed 38 years of marriage. To say that Bobby was an Elvis fan would be an understatement, he often talked about the first time he saw Elvis on tv when he was a very young boy. From that point on, Bobby was consumed with Elvis, collecting Elvis memorabilia and listening to his music every day. He also loved fishing and watching old westerns. Bobby was thrilled when he became a grandfather, but he was over the moon with the excitement of learning he would be a great-grandfather later this year. Bobby was a big guy with an even bigger heart, he loved his family and his hometown. He was always willing to help in whatever way he was able.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy and Marvin Lee Williams; and his sister, Diana Bowen.
He is survived by his wife, Donna of the home; two sons, Dale E. Williams, Jr. of Garnett and Andy Watts of Toronto, Kansas; two granddaughters, Katheryn and Carla Williams of Garnett; sister, Flora Mae Robinson of Lubbock, Texas; brother, Howard Williams and wife, Donna of Garnett; and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Burial will follow in the Welda Cemetery, Welda, Kansas. Friends may pay their respects to Bobby on Tuesday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett.
