Brenda was born September 28, 1956, in Iola, Kansas. On March 17, 1972 Brenda married Donald Knavel, Sr. at Iola. They made their home in Iola for a few years before moving to LaHarpe.
Brenda is survived by husband of 49 years, Donald Knavel, Sr.; four sons, Donald Knavel, Jr. and wife, Susan, Mike Knavel, Keith Knavel, and Craig Knavel and wife, Adrianne; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Knavel and Eula Hutton; brother, Jim Cooper.
